JACKSONVILLE, FL — Vitalis Smart Communities, the nation’s leading telecom advisory firm, announced the successful negotiation and execution of two long-term agreements for Montreux at Deerwood Lake, a 444-unit community in Jacksonville. The deal pairs a 10-year fiber internet agreement with an 11-year community-wide access control agreement, and for the first time brings both under one centralized platform.

Residents and the board now manage the community through a single white-labeled app built specifically for Montreux at Deerwood Lake. The app replaces gate remotes and key fobs with keyless phone entry, pushes real-time security alerts from the property’s camera network, and gives residents one place to check their internet service, instead of juggling separate logins and providers.

“Communities want one place to manage what matters, gate access, cameras, and internet, not five separate logins,” said Elliot LaBreche, CEO of Vitalis Smart Communities. “Montreux at Deerwood Lake has that now, built specifically for their community.”

The fiber agreement delivers multi-gigabit internet to every unit, with speed upgrades built into the contract at set intervals so residents get faster service over time at no additional cost to the association. The access control agreement adds license plate readers at key entry points and camera coverage throughout the property.

Vitalis also secured a six-figure signing bonus for the association, with all legal fees covered as part of the deal. Both agreements were structured to begin as the community’s existing provider agreement winds down, so residents see no gap in service.
