Vitalis Secures $1 M in Savings & Future-Proofs Las Vistas at Inverrary

Introduction

Vitalis Smart Communities announced today the successful completion of a landmark contract renegotiation for Las Vistas at Inverrary, a 431-unit community in Lauderhill, delivering more than $1 million in savings while modernizing the property with fiber and smart-building solutions.

For years, Las Vistas at Inverrary was locked into a legacy Breezeline agreement that no longer met the community’s needs. Vitalis Smart Communities stepped in to re-engineer the contract, future-proof the property, and provide significant operational and financial benefits.

Key Achievements

$1 Million in Savings: Vitalis successfully renegotiated contract terms, securing long-term financial relief for the community.

Fiber-Optic Upgrade: Transitioned from coax-dependent services to a fully fiber-based infrastructure capable of supporting multi-gigabit speeds.

Integrated IPTV Platform: Enabled residents to access modern streaming services without reliance on outdated coaxial infrastructure.

Community Channel: Established a dedicated platform where the board can share events, notices, and updates directly with residents.

Enhanced Security: Negotiated dark fiber connections for all new smart cameras across the 30-building community, ensuring full surveillance coverage.

Wi-Fi 6 Upgrade: Breezeline will provide next-generation Wi-Fi 6 modems in every unit for faster and more reliable internet access.

Elevator Line Consolidation: Modernized 30 outdated elevator connections, replacing costly individual lines with a consolidated E-POTS solution, cutting expenses by 40 percent and eliminating accounting inefficiencies.

Stronger SLAs: Introduced new service-level agreements that hold the provider accountable for performance, response times, and ongoing technology upgrades.

A Holistic Approach to Community Needs

Vitalis Smart Communities goes beyond contract negotiation. At Las Vistas, the team evaluated the property as a whole. From broken security gates to outdated infrastructure, the community was facing issues that required a coordinated approach. By addressing these challenges, Vitalis delivered solutions that improve safety, reduce costs, and ensure the technology is ready for future demands.

“Our mission is to help communities maximize value while preparing them for the future,” said Maz Khan, President at Vitalis Smart Communities. “Las Vistas at Inverrary is a prime example of how thoughtful negotiation, smart technology integration, and a resident-first approach can create lasting impact.”
