DELRAY BEACH, FL — Vitalis Smart Communities negotiated the bulk internet and TV renewal for Emerald Pointe, a 330-home community in Delray Beach, Florida, generating over 20% in savings on the community’s internet and video expenses. The new agreement also includes a six-figure signing bonus and upgraded internet speeds, all secured a full year ahead of the current contract’s expiration.

With roughly one year left on its existing agreement, Emerald Pointe was evaluating a renewal proposal from its current provider. The board engaged Vitalis to benchmark the proposal against current market terms and run a competitive process before committing to the renewal.

Through that process, Vitalis secured significantly improved terms: a reduced rate and annual escalator, a six-figure signing bonus for the association, and an immediate internet speed upgrade with scheduled increases over the life of the contract. Vitalis also negotiated a discounted voice service rate for residents and commercial use, which holds for the full term of the agreement and all future amendments.

Vitalis also managed all contract redlines during the negotiation. The board had full transparency into every term before execution.
