DURHAM, N.C. – Vitalis Smart Communities negotiated a new 10-year bulk internet agreement for ACRE at a 144-unit garden-style multifamily community in Durham, North Carolina. The agreement generates approximately $76K in annual NOI and over $1.4M in value creation for ownership.

ACRE came to Vitalis to add ancillary income at the property. Vitalis brought the property’s incumbent provider to the table on competitive terms. That kept the bulk rollout low-touch, with minimal disruption for residents and onsite teams. The agreement also adds managed Wi-Fi across the community’s common areas.

On top of the financial impact, the agreement guarantees residents an upgrade to symmetrical speeds as soon as they become available in the service area, at no cost to ownership. The deal went from LOA signature to executed contract in four months.
